TRI-FOR-A-CURE
Scarborough Physical Therapy Associates, as a
woman-owned business, sponsored the third annual Tri-for-a-Cure held on August
15, 2010. Over $900,000 was raised to benefit cancer research, education
and patient support programs for the people of Maine. Two of our
therapists, June Tait, P.T. and Sara Merrill, MPT, were among the
participants.
KINESIO TAPING ...
We, at Scarborough Physical Therapy Associates,
recently hosted courses for Kinesio Taping I-III. Currently we have six
therapists who are Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioners:

FALL NEWSLETTER 2010
We have just mailed our annual Fall Newsletter
commemorating October as National Physical Therapy Month. This year's
theme is "Move Forward: Physical Therapy
Brings Motion to Life." Physical Therapy educates
people of all ages and abilities about the importance of physical activity in
preventing and combating obesity and its consequences.
FALL/WINTER SPORTS
With fall season upon us, we are preparing for
the upcoming winter season. Fall sports, such as football, cross-country,
and soccer, are in progress, while training for winter sports, such as skiing
and hockey, is right around the corner. Scarborough Physical Therapy
Associates offers rehabilitation/performance improving therapy for your
preseason needs. |
