June Tait is proud to celebrate Scarborough Physical
Therapy Associates being in practice for 14 years. What
began as a
two person practice, Scarborough Physical Therapy Associates
has grown into a strong business with 15 employees. The clinic
has nine highly skilled physical therapists who have over 186 years
of combined clinical experience.
Graduating with honors from
the University of Lowell in
Massachusetts, June has been practicing physical therapy for
twenty-three years.
She strongly believes that a manual therapy
approach can promote healing by improving the body’s structure
and therefore
enhancing the body’s function. |
After many years of coursework, June has recently received her diploma in
Integrative Manual Therapy,
which is a specialized hands-on treatment approach that integrates multiple systems
of the body. This is a
gentle total body approach in which many have experienced significant pain
relief.
Scarborough
Physical Therapy Associate’s mission is to provide quality and comprehensive
care in a kind and compassionate manner. The clinic offers all
aspects of physical therapy services and treats individuals of all
ages with diverse and varied diagnoses. June has striven to create
a supportive and healing environment for both employees and clients
alike. Many have commented on the clinic’s special and healing
qualities.
June is excited for the future of her business. Scarborough Physical Therapy
Associates moved to a new expanded clinic in February 2008.
Scarborough Physical Therapy Associates continues to provide
individualized treatment programs to all of Southern Maine. With the tremendous support of her family, June feels
that owning a business has been an amazing journey. She feels privileged to be in a position to help employees realize their
professional goals as well as to assist individuals in their healing process.
June applauds all women in business as she understands the challenge of nurturing a family and a business simultaneously.
She views herself as a role model especially to her children and hopes to help create a strong positive view of women in business.
